Madison Boone is a Ph.D. candidate working with Dr. Sarah P. Church and the People-Places-Water Lab at Montana State University. Her dissertation research focuses on learning, collaboration, and capacity-building between researchers and water resource managers. In addition to her graduate research, Madison also works as a Research Project Manager for a U.S. Forest Service-funded wildfire social science research project. Prior to her current roles, Madison worked as a Project and Communications Manager on the Montana NSF EPSCoR CREWS project, Project Manager for the Montana Institute on Ecosystems, and served two terms as a Big Sky Watershed Corps member in Bozeman, where she focused on developing resources for drought planning and climate adaptation. When not behind a computer, Madison can be found out on Bozeman’s trails with her dog Pickle or scheming her next move in her weekly Dungeons and Dragons session.
