Montana AWRA is pleased to offer several funding opportunities for Montana college students studying water resources and related topics. 

New in 2026: Graduate Student Scholarships

We are pleased to announce the opening of applications for the first ever Montana AWRA Graduate Scholarship. One $1,500 Scholarship will be awarded to a graduate student (Master’s or PhD) at a Montana Institution of Higher Learning. Student Travel Awards

These awards fund travel expenses (room and mileage) for attendance at the annual Montana AWRA conference (October 7-9, 2026). This opportunity is available to Montana college students of all levels.  Applications are due September 17th, 2026.  Apply for a student travel award.
